Construction of a new Shopping Centre

The Westfalen-Einkaufszentrum (WEZ) is a shopping centre
acquired from the Metro Group and located directly adjacent to the city centre of Dortmund. The Lüder Group built the WEZ on
a plot exceeding 60,000 m² after completely demolishing the 1970s shopping centre.

The WEZ has developed into a vibrant retail centre which has
become an important cornerstone in the local supply of north Dortmund. Kaufland and various top chain stores representing
a cross-section of all retail branches, moved into a floor space of approx. 30,000 m². In addition to the varied assortment of goods on offer, this project also accommodates other retail uses such
as recreational activities and office space.

All project development, planning, construction, financing and leasing was carried out by Lüder Bauträger GmbH and partners. This also included extensive soil remediation and removal of the original mining equipment.
