Regeneration of long-term empty space in Hanover

The new 3,200 m² E-Centre in Hanover is another good example of the development of promising retail areas by the Lüder Group and its partners. It replaces a former two-storey hypermarket which was owned by the Metro Group.

The retail location in the heart of Hanover-Ricklingen that was neglected over the years despite being very central was converted into a modern E-Centre. The termination of the tenancy and the construction were carried out without disrupting the
operation of the tax office next door with which it has a party-wall. The shopping centre building had to be completely gutted and, the entire technical section and adjoining wing were demolished and rebuilt. The facade underwent a significant upgrade with brick facing, while a metal and glass construction made the interior transparent and bright. Additional parking spaces were created outside.
